Outpatient Therapy

We often struggle with behavioral and emotional issues that we are unable to resolve on our own, so it becomes necessary to enlist the help of a professional to get better.  Ridgeview offers comprehensive outpatient therapy (counseling) services for children, adolescents, and adults at each of our locations.  Our highly trained and caring treatment professionals, including psychologists, clinical social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists, provide individual and family therapy, marital/couples counseling, and group therapy.  Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is offered at several of our locations to assist families in learning to better manage difficult child behaviors.  Ridgeview also specializes in trauma-informed care, providing treatment in a safe and supportive enviornment for children and adults who have experienced traumatic events.  Treatment components from Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) are utilized to assist children in learning to manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to past trauma, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is available at some locations.

Ridgeview promotes an environment of acceptance and understanding, ensuring that each and every individual that walks through our door is treated with dignity and respect.  We offer same-day access services at our Anderson, Campbell, Roane, and Scott County locations, including an initial face-to-face screening with a counselor to determine individual treatment needs and to begin coordination of our wide array of outpatient treatment services.
