Rowdy Ridgeview Rebels celebrate victory in Walk Across Morgan contest!

Several Ridgeview staff, cleverly dubbed the Rowdy Ridgeview Rebels by Team Captain, Amy Olson, participated in the Walk Across Morgan contest, which was organized by Amanda Bates-Cloutier, County Director with the UT Extension Institute of Agriculture. The event was a great way to promote overall health and well-being, while also generating good healthy competition amongst several of the Morgan County Health Council member agencies. Great work team! Photographed left to right: Ashley McCloud, Bobby Snow, Michael Yates, Stacy Park, and Team Captain, Amy Olson (not pictured: Karra Paquette).

Carolyn Jackson celebrates 30 years at Ridgeview!

Open Forum on July 7 was a special opportunity to honor and celebrate Carolyn's 30 years of dedication and service to the needs of others. Truly, you are an inspiration in furthering our mission of hope, healing, and recovery. Thank you, Carolyn, for all your dedication!

Ridgeview trainings turn up the heat this summer!

Thanks to all of the Ridgeview staff who facilitate educational learning opportunities for community partners and others! We've had a busy summer, to say the least. Leading the summer's continuing ed trainings are the following Ridgeview offerings: "Building Strong Brains" training through the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) statewide initiative; Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement training to TEIS; Question, Persuade, Refer suicide prevention training; and finally, Mental Health 101 for a variety of school districts has also been widely requested.

"Where shame cannot survive"

Our very own Raquel Nichols bravely allowed us to profile her for a guest column press release for the Independent Herald in Scott County. The IH is published weekly, so we'll include the article once it's published.

Thanks Raquel!

Morgan County Clinic hangs its shingle!

As you know, beginning Monday, July 31, Ridgeview will open its doors and welcome its clients to 830 Main Street, Suite 2, in Wartburg (next to Riddle Pharmacy). The new locale will afford staff additional space in which to provide care and expand services to our clients. Once everyone has settled into the new location, Ridgeview will host an Open House Ribbon Cutting ceremony in partnership with the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce in the fall - stay tuned for those additional details! We're delighted to be Morgan County's premier behavioral health provider.

Ridgeview launches Breaking News!

On Friday of each week, Ridgeview will send out a Breaking News update to all staff - this is another effort to better connect everyone to what is going on in and around Ridgeview's five county service area. Though we currently don't have a twitter account, a playful hashtag will be added, and who knows, maybe one day soon we, too, will enter the twitterverse.
