Bicyclists pedal Mayor’s proclamation in Anderson County

Clinton, TN — Ride for Hope bicyclists stopped at Anderson County Courthouse to receive mental health proclamation from Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank on May 13th. The proclamation identified the month of May as Anderson County’s month to elevate mental health literacy across the community and called upon citizens, government agencies, public and private institutions, businesses and schools in Anderson County to increase awareness and understanding of mental health needs.

The cyclists departed from Department of Children’s Services in Clinton and rode to Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services in Oak Ridge, while stopping by Willow Brook Elementary to celebrate mental health awareness with the students.
