Knoxville News Sentinel names Ridgeview a winner of the greater Knoxville area 2018 top workplaces award

Oak Ridge, TN — Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by Knoxville News Sentinel. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

Ridgeview CEO, Brian Buuck, lauded the importance of this award, saying, “Our staff work so hard and have a relentless commitment to our mission of hope, healing, and recovery for everyone who seeks our services, this award recognizes them and their passion for service to others.” Additionally, Human Resources Director, Julie Wright, added, “We are always striving to strengthen our ability to recruit, develop, and retain quality staff – this award is a recognition of that guiding service philosophy, and it’s an acknowledgement that Ridgeview is a place where staff are valued, appreciated, and proud of the positive impact they are making in people’s lives.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
